Never read the book....
Never saw the movie....
Didn't even know they were in Iowa...
The most interesting thing I noticed about these bridges, other than the fact that people are still visiting them 12 years after the movie, is their security system. The bridges are pretty much in the middle of nowhere, yet each one has it's own solar powered security camera and microwave link. Probably because one was burned down years ago due to arson. The Bridges of Madison County are nice, but are you guys willing to go the distance? Just head north east with slight detours to pick up Terence Mann and Doc Graham and well, you know the story.
